Winter Wellies.

Although winter is rapidly retreating, thank god, I am still clinging onto my winter fashion. Let's be honest, dressing for winter is just better.

Anyway, the warming days have not stopped me from admiring these lovely peal hunter boots. There is just something about them that causes me to be obsessed with them.

Sorry for the lack of updates recently, uni has been super busy, however I am working on a project at the moment that is super exciting, it is for uni, but still exciting none the less. I can not wait to share it with you when it is properly underway!

Keeping on trend track.

I am not one for tracksuits. I have one pair of pants that I wear occasionally, but I would NEVER wear them out of the house, not to mention I continuously judge people that wear them to uni.

HOWEVER, Asos has recently released a couple of tracksuits that have me lusting after them.

The first was this "Jogger in Disney print". I am a sucker for Disney, so pretty much the reasons for wanting this go unsaid.
Now don't get me wrong, I still probably wouldn't wear this outside the house, unless I was going to a friends house to chill, but I think it is fab.
And yes, I would wear both the jumper and pants together.

The second is this "Jogger in Barbie Print", which when I happened upon this actually made me gasp. Barbie was my life when I was a youngster, and this particular print is exactly the barbie brand I knew growing up.
Again, I wouldn't wear this outside, but it is adorable.

I am pretty sure I want to purchase one of these, but I have no idea which one!
I think I am leaning towards the Disney print, I think the colours would suit me more... but Barbie? I feel like I am betraying her!

What do you guys think? Which one do you prefer?

My Life In Instagram; August Edition.

1. Store layout of Somewhere. | 2. Cute street art. | 3. Pineapple necklace. | 4. Decorative umbrellas at Australia on Collins. | 5. Bag embroidery detail. | 6. Rainy Melbourne day. | 7. Conscious Chocolate - best chocolate ever. | 8. Dame Edna Everage program. | 9. Visiting school on Crepe Day. | 10. Chains and Mountains. | 11. New Sass & Bide jacket. | 12. Evil Eye necklace. | 13. Neon embroidered Asos skirt. | 14. Melbourne Central's Little Library.

I apologise for my absence the last week. One of my best friends left to go to college in America, so I was trying to spend all my spare time with her! Sad to see her off, but she is going to do great things!

Anyway, here are a few pictures of the last month or so that you may have spotted on my intsagram feed! None of them have much relevance to be honest, mostly just new purchases.
I did go catch "Eat, Pray, Laugh!" with Barry Humphries and his abundance of characters at Her Majesty's Theatre (I think that was the theatre). Dame Edna to me is flawless and a role model, so I loved her!

Another thing that may be of interest would be the very last photo. I shot it at Melbourne Central the other day, it is a little pop up library, and when I say "little" I mean little! The unique thing about it is that the whole thing works on an honesty system! You can simply take whichever book you please - as long as you return it! Can you say awesome?!

Wanting to be stuck on a desert River Island.

I have always loved the brand River Island, its affordable, on trend, and really I just love it.
I have purchased a couple of items from ASOS before, but the other day I decided to check out their actual website. Big. Mistake.
I think I want just about everything.

Anyway, after restricting myself to the sales section, with the exception on the MTV top, these are the items I have fallen in love with. I told you guys I was having a total 1980's miami tropicana moment - and here is the evidence.
I just keep thinking how fab these items would be for summer - and how much of good a price it is for all of them.

Sigh. The troubles of a uni student attempting to save. I shall just continue to dream about them until they are inevitably sold out and I will cry forever on the inside.

Vitamin C.

So head over heels for this Witchery "Sunray Pleat" dress.

The colour here is a tangerine orange, but in real life it is full blown NEON. It is highlighter orange and it is fab.
Ever since I saw it a month ago in Myer it has been in the back of my mind, so much so that I believe it must be mine.

Please powers that be let it be mine.
I can't remember the last time I have felt this way about a dress.

I should probably get onto it asap, as I can see this one selling out!

Will Kristen Stewart be able to stay faithful to this relationship?

I hope so! Because I am really feeling the vibe of her new advertisement for Balenciaga's new perfume "Florabotanica."

Usually I am not a fan off Miss Ol-Sour-Puss-Face, manly because of her her general demeanor and acting skills, (well alright, I didn't mind her in 'Cherry Bomb') but this I like!

It must just be the general aesthetic of the add, colours and pattern, but looking at this doesn't want me to shake her trying to get a smile out of her.

What do you guys think of Miss Stewarts modeling stint?

Tropicana Baby.

I am wearing...
Necklace: Sportsgirl. | Top: American Apparel. | Pants: Zara. | Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell

The other night we headed out for my friend Bronte's 19th birthday. It was a cold and wintery night, so I rocked these pants.
Believe it or not, these pants are actually my Mum's. She brought them back from a trip to China and upon seeing them in her suitcase and finding out they were actually meant for her, not me, I said to her, "you know how I feel about floral and tropicana prints and you bought them for you?".
It's safe to say she is yet to wear them.

The shoes are my latest Jeffrey Campbell purchase, for awhile nothing of his had been catching my eye, but the Brazen changed that.
It also came in silver, but I am in a total rose gold moment at the moment, aaaand they didn't have the silver in my size. Wah.
But the shoes themselves are so comfy, that when the silver does come back in stock on Solestruck, I may have to get them also.

Summer is just around the corner and I am slowly gearing up for summer styles I want to add to my wardrobe.
What are the staples for you this summer?

Tori
